Rancho Sordo Mundo started out as a free home and school for Deaf children in Baja California, Mexico in 1969.  Ed and Margaret Everett, the founders of RSM, believed that Deaf children could be taught how to read and write, to communicate in sign language, and to learn a trade for their future. More importantly, the goal of the ministry was and still is to teach the children of God's love for them and give them a hope and a future.

 

Although operations on the RSM site has currently changed since the fall of 2018, the mission of reaching the Deaf for Jesus remains the same. Pray for us as we seek and transition  to what God has planned for us, and for us to continue to raise support in order to directly help and establish other Deaf ministries in Mexico and around the world.
